My three basic and key principles for successful financial investments (and sports investment is one of them) are:

1) Development of a base statistical and risk model.

2) Incorporation of additional and specific related information.

3) Understanding of psychology in the market.

The practical application of these principles defines my betting strategy.

First my statistical and risk model (including my learning & understanding of the psychology of the market) provides an initial number of tips. Then I incorporate additional and specific related information to the analysis, reducing the number of potential tips and coming to an estimated probability for each one. Finally I compare that probability against current odds. When there is a relevant deviation between my estimated probability and the one defined by bookies, we have found our tip.
